#Market_Review || Sensex recovers 133 pts
Mumbai, Aug 13: The BSE Sensex on Thursday recovered by 133 pts at 38,503.39 in the opening session, on fresh buying in Metal, FMCG, IT, Health Care stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too rose by 41.75 pts to 11,350.15.
The sectoral indices include, Metal, FMCG, IT and Health Care pushed the Sensex up in early trade.
The Sensex registered intraday high and low at 38,515.63 and 38,377.94 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intraday high and low at 11,359.30 and 11,321 respectively.
The Mid Cap moved up by 0.90 pc and Small Cap by 0.80 pc.
In 30 scrips, 25 advanced while 5 declined.
The gainers were ONGC by 1.47 pc to Rs 99.25, NTPC by 1.39 pc to Rs 87.40, TCS by 1.34 pc to Rs 2287, Tech Mahindra by 1.33 pc to Rs 701.40 and Kotak Bank by 1.15 pc to Rs 1350.70.
The losers were Bharti Airtel by 1.52 pc to Rs 540.20, ITC by 1.15 pc to Rs 201.80, Maruti Suzuki by 0.65 pc to Rs 6687.40 and Sun Pharma by 0.25 pc to Rs 530.15.
