Around 40 mortar shells recovered
SAMBA: Around fourty old and rusted mortar shells were recovered from village Amowal.
As per police sources, Rakesh Kumar, son of Bham Dev of village Amowal while working in his agriculture land at village Amobal noticed mortar shells and informed the police.
On getting information, police team along with Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot and took around 40 shells into their custody.
The shells are very old and rusted. However, Vijaypur Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
