Sahu relieved; Verma, Raju get his duties

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday relieved Ajeet Kumar Sahu, IAS, commissioner secretary to the government, Jal Shakti department, who has been directed to report to his new place of posting in Ladakh union territory.
In his place, M Raju, IAS (JK:2005), Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, holding additional charge of Managing Director, JKPCC, Administrative Secretary, Hospitality & Protocol, Estates and Civil Aviation Departments, has been give the charge of Administrative Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Also, the government deployed division commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma as overall in charge for management of interstate borders and transit of passengers and supply at Lakhanpur in view of Covid-19, a job earlier assigned to Sahu.
In a separate order, the government also relieved Joginder Singh, SSP Traffic City, Jammu and Al-Tahir Geelani, SP, North Srinagar, who have been transferred to the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
“Consequent upon above, Pardeep Singh, Addl. SP, Traffic City Jammu and Tahir Ashraf Bhatti, SP, PC Srinagar shall in addition to their own duties hold the charge of SSP Traffic City Jammu and SP, North Srinagar respectively, till further orders,” the order reads.
