ASI killed in mishap

PULWAMA: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Jammu and Kashmir police was on Friday killed in a road accident in Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said.
Police sources told that Nazir Ahmad Sofi, son of Sana Ullah Sofi, a resident of Munawarabad, Anantnag who was on way to Srinagar on his motorcycle, was hit by a speedy truck on road, resulting in his death.
Sofi was working in Jammu and Kashmir Police department as ASI.
