Pak national held on IB, repatriated

SAMBA: A mentally disturbed Pakistani national was arrested by the Border Security Force along the International Border in Samba district, hours before he was repatriated after thorough investigation.
According to the officials, 173 Battalion of BSF apprehended a suspected person at Chack Dulma sector of the district on Wednesday morning.
“During investigation, the person disclosed his name as Mohammad Iqbal (50), resident of Khorke District in Pakistan,” an official said, adding that the BSF also recovered Rs 1500 Pak currency from his Possession.
“Detailed investigations revealed that the apprehended suspect was a mentally retarded person. After proper investigation by BSF he has been pushed back to Pakistan after a flag meeting held at zero line between 25 Wing Chenab Ranger of Pakistani Border Out Post Sukhmal 173 Bn of BOP Chak Doluma at around 6:10 pm, the official added.
