3 killed in R S Pura accident

JAMMU: Three people were killed while three more were critically injured on Sunday in a car accident in the outskirts of the city here.
The speeding car bearing registration number JK02-CK-1337 was carrying some local labourers for work in the fields when its driver lost control of the vehicle at Gondla village in R S Pura area around 8.15 am, a police official said.
The car rolled over several times after skidding off the road and rammed into some trees, he said, quoting eye-witnesses.
The deceased were identified as Gurdas Chand, 48, son of Chaman Lal, resident of Dravya, Raj Kumar, 45, son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Dangray while Kuldeep Kumar, son of Des Raj of Gagain, R S Pura succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
The injured persons were identified as driver Parveen Singh Sindhu, Surinder Lal and Tarsem Lal.
