Technology has made life easy, but it has made us lazy

It can’t be argued that modern technology makes life easier and more dignified for most of the people. One of the major advantages is the advancement of medical science. But we cannot deny that the advancement of technology has vastly affected the lives of people in other way also. People are always busy with their electronic tools, whether be it their smart phone, laptop, pc or something else. They don’t have time even for their near and dear ones. As a result it has raised the eyebrows of the intellectuals all over the world that are we using excessive of technology or we have become a slave of technology.

I strongly believe that modern technology is undeniably good because it makes our lives easier ranging from powerful automobiles to high definition televisions to super computers and small memory cards and other microchips. Microwave ovens, induction heaters has lessen the burden and stress of women’s as now making food has become easier as compared to the early times when women’s spends a lot of time dealing with stoves and making it a mess.
In short, modern technology plays a vital and important role in improving the quality of our lives. The never ending evolving of technologies is the core of our society. It has been a key component for humans from the very beginning of time and will continue in future also. I strongly believe everyone will agree with that.
Technology has enabled us to strengthen relationships by keeping in contact with old friends, colleagues and co-workers. Technology has made it possible to communicate with people all over the world through email, instant messaging, Skype, social media etc. we can find our old friends of high school through facebook. Technology has even provided opportunities for students all over the world to receive education online, while still maintaining work schedules and family.

There is no doubt that the modern advance technology has completely changed or revolutionized the present day life. But I also think that we are becoming a slave of modern technology.
Starting from the beginning of the day to the time when we go to bed we are directly or indirectly are always connected with the technology. Whether it be the television, smart phone or computer we are stick towards them. We have become so much dependent on the modern day technology that it is has almost unthinkable and impossible to live without it. We have almost forgotten ourselves. We have forgotten to take a movement with the beauty of nature, spending some time in the shadow of trees, enjoy the beauty of flowers. Even we hardly spend time with our family members together. But we enjoy browsing social networking sites all the time.
Earlier there was a trend of spending time with friends, neighborhood and others. But now it seems like that people don’t have time for their near and dear ones. They especially youth even don’t care what others think about them as they are always busy with their on line life form their status to their profile pic.

Technology is very important in humankind’s growth because at any stage of its development it has made life easier and has opened several doors of opportunities for us that were unthinkable before. Mobile phones have become essential because now you can call anyone at anytime, anywhere. Business transactions have so much faster these days that money changes hands electronically in just a few seconds.
Education sector is vastly affected by the advancement of technology. It cannot be denied that internet has become invaluable when it comes to research and supplemental studies for students of all levels. With the help of technology students have all the learning resources at the fingertips. Teaching methods have also been changed due to this progress. Now students have the facility of smart classes, where they are taught with the help of various digital tools enhancing their knowledge level out of the boundaries of their syllabus.
And the advance level of modern day’s treatment is not unknown to anyone. Life expectancy has increased as compares to earlier times because of high level medical treatment available for almost all diseases.

Youth of today is totally depended on technology. Earlier the situation was not the same. People used to read lots and lots of books to enhance their knowledge but now if we asked someone a question that too of his/her field, they always have an answer, Google or Wikipedia. And due to it the IQ level of the people is decreasing day by day.
Because of the excessive time, child spends on watching television has badly affected their views and behavior. Moreover, it is impossible to separate today’s youth from their smart phones. They feel like that they have lost a family member if they can’t find their mobile phone.
Added to that, today’s generation is becoming much lazier than the earlier generation. This is because they are too dependent on technologies. Some of them are unable to do things on their own.
It has replaced manual work with machine work in almost all departments. Starting from simple calculations to cutting grass in garden to many other small works it has reduced the men power making them lazy and heavily dependent on them as well. Though it can’t be argued as all these machines are making our work easy to perform but it can effect negatively in case when these tools are not available.
Development is not a bad thing at all, we just need to examine its influence in our lives.
