Inaugurates GGHS Chenebal building, inspects PHC Singhpora


BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 25: Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo said that the district administration is committed to develop education infrastructure to improve educations scenario across the district.
The DC stated this while inaugurating Government Girls High School building at Chenebal, Pattan, here today.
He was informed that the building has been completed at a cost of Rs 93 lakh under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA).
The DDC urged the students to participate in sports as the year 2020 is being observed as 'Sports Year' in the district.
He appealed stakeholders including religious heads to extend their support for various welfare and developmental measures initiated for the youth welfare especially for curbing drug menace.
Earlier, the DC accompanied by concerned officers inspected Primary Health Centre (PHC) Singhpora and found doctors and paramedical staff absent from duty.
Taking serious note, the DC directed the concerned to initiate disciplinary action under rules against the absentees.
