Suspicious object at IB seized

JAMMU: A suspicious object—similar to a drone-- was seized in a village of Ranbir Singh Pura situated along the International Border (IB) in Jammu district on Sunday- when the region was celebrating the Republic day.
“On the evening of Republic Day, this ‘drone-like object’ was found flying near Ballu Chak, a forward locality of RS Pura,” sources said adding, Border Security Force (BSF) has started investigations in this matter after seizing the ‘flying object.’
A BSF official on anonymity maintained that it was a toy but a detailed investigation into the incident was underway.
“More details are awaited in this regard, he added.
