Victim comes to Jammu to donate her kidney to accused’s ailing father

Jammu: In a bizarre incident, a boy has been booked allegedly for spiking her facebook friend and committing rape on her in Jammu.
The incident took place in Jammu’s hotel here at Bus Stand area. Official sources said that the victim girl, who was living in Jalandhar with her mother, had come to Jammu to donate her kidney to the accused's ailing father.
Bus Stand Police have lodged a case vide FIR no 05/2024 U/S 376 IPC against the accused boy, his ailing father and his sister.
Bus Stand Police lodged First Information Report (FIR) against Sandeep Singh, his father Naseeb Singh and her sister Kiran all residents of village Tikri Goal, Udhampur after receiving a complaint by the victim duly endorsed from the office of DPO Jammu vide no. CLT/DPOJ/24/PH-32 dated 10/02/2024.
In her complaint, the victim , a resident of Jalandhar City, said that she came in contact with the accused Sandeep through social media in the year 2019 and started chatting with her via video calls and voice calls.
One fine day, Sandeep requested her to find a good hospital in Jalandhar for treatment of his father who was suffering from Kidney problem.
She said that she helped the accused in finding the hospital in Jalandhar, adding, in the year 2020, Sandeep came to Jalandhar, met her in a coffee shop where he proposed to her for marriage.
Later, he told her mother telephonically to come to meet him and his parents at Tikri Udhampur. The victim girl, who was working in an NGO, was having an event on 12.11.2020 at Jammu and for that purpose she came to Jammu on 11.11.2020 where she was picked up by Sandeep from Samba in his own vehicle and took her to a hotel near Trikuta Complex BC Road Jammu.
She told him that she would donate one of her kidneys to his father.
In her complaint, she further said that the accused Sandeep served a cold drink to her following which she became unconscious.
The accused raped her in the state of intoxication and also clicked her objectionable photos and videos. She requested the accused to delete the photographs otherwise she would lodge an FIR against him. The accused ensured her to delete the same. However, she was shocked when she saw her video on someone's phone.
A senior police officer when contacted admitted of such a complaint, adding, investigation of the case is in progress.
