Admin issues timeline, designates officers for 102 government services

Land passbook to be issued in 10 days, pension for victims of militancy in 30 days

SRINAGAR: The administration in the Union Territory has issued timelines and has designated officers for over 102 different government schemes.
In this regard a notification has been issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) Commissioner Secretary Sanjeev Verma which reads, “In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 read with section 8 of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011 (Act No. IX of 2011), the government hereby notifies these services, timelines and the designated officers and Appellate Authorities for the departments.”
Among the 102 government services, timelines and officers have been designated for five services which include School Education Department, and Urban Local Bodies Jammu/Kashmir. Two services each of the Revenue Department and Science and Technology Department.
As per the order, the timeline and officers have designated eight services of the Tourism Department, six services each of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, the Housing and Urban Development Department and the Mission Youth Scheme and Scholarship Scheme of the Finance Department.
Also, ten services from the Social Welfare Department and forty-four services from the Transport Department and one service each from Agriculture Production Department and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj; three services each from the Health and Medical Education Department and Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
As per the order timeline for issuing for un-employment service has been set as 15 days; 10 days for Land Passbook, 15 days for age certification, issuance of jobs cards in 15 days, Mumkin Livelihood Scheme in 30 days, TEJASWANI Livelihood scheme in 30 days, Ladli Beti in 15 days.
30 days timeline has been set for issuing pensions for victims of militancy, post-matric scholarships to Pahari-speaking students, applications for correction in the existing birth record and issuance of certificates, non-availability certificates of birth records, correction in existing death records and issuance of certificates, issuance of non-availability certificate death record and registration of pet dog.
15 days timeline has been set for the transfer of ownership of a vehicle, the addition of hypothecation, cancellation of hypothecation, change of address in the registration certificate, duplicate registration certificate, change of address in learner license, renewal of pollution checking centres and transfer of ownership of the vehicle.
