CBI conduct raids in Kathua

Jammu: The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, today conducted a raid in 8.32 crore loan fraud case, here in Kathua’s Industrial area at Mehroli in Hatli Morh.
“CBI Jammu raided the premises of JK textile park industrial estate regarding a fraud case”, said a police officer.
Official sources said that the similar raid was also conducted in Hoshiarpur. Sharing details, a police officer said that the CBI team from the Jammu office raided a factory of Haryana residents. It is stated that Rs 8.32 crore has been embezzled by senior officers of the factory. It is alleged that the said amount was allegedly diverted for other purposes prompting the factory owner to lodge a complaint with the CBI.
They said that CBI sleuths seized records from the raided factory for scrutiny.
