APRIL 12: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit on April 19 vis-a-vis the inauguration of Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL), security has been heightened in Reasi.
Heavy deployment of the forces has been done to foil any untoward incident in Reasi. Security forces are at high vigil with aim to ensure tranquil atmosphere.
It is learnt that USBRL which is 272-km long including 119-km tunnel is much anticipated rail link which will enhance the connectivity to Kashmir valley.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will throwing open the USBRL project on April 19.
As per the reports, PM Modi will dedicate this project to the people to reap its benefits.
Pertinent to mention, on the inaugural day, two Vande Bharat Express trains will begin service, one running from Srinagar and the other from Katra to Srinagar.
