MARCH 20: Education Minister Sakina Itoo said that as many as 594 posts of lecturers in 27 disciplines have been referred to J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC).
Sakina Itoo was replying to query raised by MLA Doda Mehraj Malik.
The minister apprised to the House that 367 posts of lecturers in different disciplines are lying vacant in umpteen schools of Doda.
In a bid to teach different subjects, Sakina Itoo said during the academic session 2024-25, as many as 140 Cluster Resource Coordinators (CRCs) were hired in Doda.
She further said after the expiry of their term new procedure of hiring will be started, depending upon availability of grants from Education Ministry, Government of India.
