JAMMU, 21 Feb: Jammu Wing of J&K High Court Bar Association will hold a protest on 22 February against Central Government’s Advocates (Amendment) Bill.
A meeting was chaired by Bar Association President K Nirmal Kotwal stating that the amendments will rule out the independence of advocates reducing the power of institute.
The decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of Bar Association, said the officials.
“The decision pertaining to protest was unanimously framed by J&K Bar Association as a mark of solidarity towards Bar Council of India” said Kotwal.
