SRINAGAR, 21 Feb: Massive fire breaks out in four buildings in Bohri Kadal area in Srinagar district.
It is learnt that three residential buildings and one commercial establishment was reduced to ashes in blaze that broke out in Bohri Kadal area in Srinagar district.
The pre-dawn fire was immediately reported to Fire and Emergency Service functionaries who reached the spot and doused the leaping flames.
Bohri Kadal is a congested area and had the fire not been controlled in time it would have resulted in major loss. Besides, no casualties have been reported from the devastating incident.
Also, the reason of the fire is unknown but people said owing to intense cold the residents had used heating appliances which might have triggered this incident.
