Jammu: BJP leader Tarun Chugh launched a scathing attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of living in a fantasy world and failing to deliver on promises. Chugh claimed that the people of Delhi are now demanding answers for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s performance over the past decade.
Criticizing former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Chugh alleged that instead of focusing on improving education by opening libraries and schools, Sisodia prioritized opening liquor shops across the city. “Sisodia, who promised libraries, replaced them with liquor stores, turning schools into ‘madhushalas’ with the support of Kejriwal,” Chugh said, further accusing the two of being involved in a ₹250 crore liquor scam.
Chugh also took a dig at Kejriwal, calling his attempts to reinstate Sisodia as deputy chief minister a “delusional dream.” He questioned Sisodia’s leadership in his constituency of Patparganj, where he served as MLA for 10 years, suggesting that his failure to maintain voter trust forced him to abandon the seat.
Accusing AAP of losing its grip on public support, Chugh predicted a significant defeat for the party in the upcoming elections. “The Aam Aadmi Party, which I call the ‘Aapda Party,’ will not even win 10 seats. Leaders like Kejriwal, Sisodia, and Atishi will face humiliating defeats with massive margins,” he asserted.
Tarun Chugh reiterated that the BJP is committed to exposing the failures of AAP and ensuring accountability for its governance.
