Jammu, October 13, 2026: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness changing weather conditions over the next ten days, with rain and snowfall expected in the first half of the forecast period, followed by largely dry conditions.

October 13–15: A western disturbance is likely to affect the region, bringing light to moderate rainfall to several areas and snowfall over higher mountain ranges. The precipitation is expected to occur at intervals, with possible breaks between showers. Daytime temperatures may remain lower than usual.

October 16–17: The weather is expected to turn largely dry, offering relief from the unsettled conditions. However, isolated brief showers may occur in some places, especially in higher reaches, during the afternoon or evening.

October 18–22: Dry weather is likely to continue across most parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Nevertheless, a brief spell of rain at isolated locations remains possible.
