Rajouri: Rajouri Police have booked two individuals for violating the District Magistrate’s ban on the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) in the district.
During naka checking, Manjakote Police apprehended Mohd Nasar of Dheri Raylote for using a VPN app and registered FIR No. 107/2025 under Section 223 BNS.
In another incident, Darhal Police booked Mohd Mukhtar, 38, of Madhoon Dodaj, after he was found with a mobile phone running a VPN application. FIR No. 73/2025 under Section 223 BNS has been registered at PS Darhal.
Police have appealed to the public to follow the DM’s order and avoid using VPN services in the district.
