AUG 22: Following the suspicious movement in the region, security forces on Friday launched a search operation in Kathua district.
Based on official information, two suspects with black masks were seen by locals in Kathua on the heels of which the search operation was initiated.
It is learnt that the search operation was launched in Juthalba area of Rajbagh after the locals reported movement of two suspected persons in the area on Thursday night.
Heavy deployment of forces has been made certain in the region to thwart any untoward activity. The security forces can be witnessed meticulously scanning the area around to foil any nefarious bid. Additionally, security personnel are on high alert and asking people to share any infomation pertaining to suspects.
A joint team of Police and Army has been inducted to survey the surroundings and ensure safety as a paramount factor.
The operation is in full swing to hunt down the suspected persons.
