JULY 2: Adhering to the Government’s resolve to serve at the ground level, Cabinet Minister for Education, Health, and Social Welfare, J&K Sakina Itoo on Wednesday met several delegations who projected a range of issues.
It is learnt that on the directions of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Sakina Masood Itoo met with umpteen delegations from across the valley at the party headquarters, Nawa-i-Subh.
In the course of this, the delegations highlighted the charter of long-pending demands several of which they said have remained unresolved for a decade.
Cabinet Minister Itoo gave a patient and empathetic hearing to all concerns and assured settlement of grievances at the earliest.
Additionally, several matters were resolved on the spot, with important directions by Minister Itoo to the concerned departments for immediate follow-up action.
