Bear attacks force closure of 19 schools in Ramban

Jammu: The district administration Ramban tonight ordered the closure of 19 schools in cluster Rajgarh and Bhartund tomorrow following two incidents of bear attacks in Kumate and Rajgarh areas.
According to the district administration’s ‘X’ handle, the decision of closure of schools have been taken after two incidents of bear attacks and the attacking animals were still at large. The administration has asked the people to exercise maximum caution while venturing out.
The schools will remain closed tomorrow include High School Kumate, Middle School Kumate, Middle School Gadgram, Middle School Mangla, Primary School Dhandla, PS Dunger, PS Dundhi, PS Natna, PS Pasri, PS Kathyur, MS Ghari, PS Shakryall, PS Tralli, PS KrantulNatna, PS Ashla, PS Satra, PS Thatha, Modern Public School Ghari and PS Kharolla.
