JKBOSE announces schedule of registration, examination forms

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Kashmir has announced the schedule for submission of online renewal registration returns and examination forms for the class 11th and 12th annual (Regular), 2023 Examination.
The schedule has been announced for eligible students of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh currently on rolls in schools falling in soft as well as hard zones.
A senior official at the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education said those students who are eligible to appear in the annual regular examination 2023 have to submit their renewal registration returns and examination forms online at the JKBOSE website as per the schedule.
Adding that he said that the schedule for Submission of Examination Forms for Annual (Regular) 2023 for Candidates with five (05) compulsory subjects commenced from Wednesday till 7th December (fee 1190). The same schedule will be for students with five plus compulsory subjects with a fee of Rs 1410 per candidate.
The late fee schedule will be from December 8th December, he said. “The examination for students of schools falling in Soft zone areas shall be conducted in March and for students of schools falling in hard zone areas shall be conducted in April”, the official said.
The official further said that the list of the soft zone and hard zone areas of UT of J&K/Ladakh is available on the JKBOSE website.
After completion of the online service, all the institutions will generate the checklist from their respective school accounts and submit the same to the Sub/Branch office, duly signed and stamped by the Head of the Institution, within ten days positively, the official said.
Only those Academic Institutions, that are affiliated with JKBOSE for the Academic Session 2022-23 are eligible to fill out the examination/RR Renewal forms. The detailed instructions/FAQs shall be made available on the official website of JKBOSE, the official said.
The official further said that the practical examinations will be conducted after the termination of the theory examination. “The specially-abled candidates with a disability of Forty (40%) or more are exempted from paying examination/R.R renewal fee, however, they shall take a printout of the examination form submitted online and get it attested by the Head of the concerned academic institutions and submit the same in the concerned Sub/Branch office/s of JK BOSE along with the copy of Disability Certificate from the concerned Medical Board”, he said.
