Union Minister Scindia, LG discuss civil aviation issues

Jammu: Ahead of Heli-India summit, the Union Minister JyotiradityaScindia and Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha discussed preparation and development works related to civil aviation.
“Today met with Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Mr. @manojsinha_Ji, discussed in detail the preparations for the Heli-Summit to be held in Srinagar on October 10 and the development works related to civil aviation,” Union Minister JyotiradityaScindia said in a tweet.
As per the report, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia,Minister for Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Steel, Government of India and Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir have given their consent to be a part of this summit.
The reports further said that the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India with the support of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Pawan Hans Ltd. and FICCI is organizing the 4th Edition of Heli-India Summit 2022 on Monday, 10th October 2022 at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
“Helicopter Summit is an ideal platform to bring together all the stakeholders of the helicopter industry and exchange their ideas to take the sector to the highest level,” the report said.
The broad objectives of the Summit are creating a world-class helicopter manufacturing ecosystem in India, Providing a common platform for all industry stakeholders, and policymakers to discuss the growth story of the Indian Helicopter industry (India@75), the issues, challenges, and brainstorming solutions for the way ahead. Promote tourism in the Himalayan states by providing uninterrupted helicopter services to the tourist hotspots, Encourage Helicopter-based emergency medical services (HEMS) in India and enhancing the role of Helicopters in supporting other industries.
