JASHN-E-TIRANGA MARCH FROM TANGDHAR TO TITHWAL

In order to celebrate 75th Tithwal Day, people of Karnah held a Jashn-e Tiranga march from Tangdhar to Tithwal here today. As part of the event more than two hundred people including youths led by retired Capt Iliyas Mohd, Bar to Sena Medal, Ex Principal Mansoor, Riyaz Ahmad BDC Chairman, Master Hamid, Abdul Rasheed Lone, Ex SDM Hamid and Master Haider moved in vehicles with Tricolours on vehicles from Tangdhar to Sikh Bridge where they dismounted from the vehicles. From Sikh Bridge onwards, all of them marched on foot with Tricolours to Tithwal where it culminated in Shaan-e-Tithwal Stadium. All of them were welcomed and received by Sarpanches of Tithwal, Simari and Dringla villages and other prominent people like Maulvi Ikhlaq and Aijaz Khan, an eminent teacher and social worker and other villagers. On culmination, a group of this contingent moved to Tithwal War Memorial and paid their homage to the martyrs.

After the Tiranga march, a volleyball match was held between the teams of Karnah XI and Indian Army XI. It was viewed by hundreds of people Participants were given prizes after the finals. Post that refreshments were organized for all present.
