Students Rally against Drug abuse held at Sopore.

A Drug rally organized by Various Local NGOs of Sopore in Collaboration with J&K Police  was held in Sopore.
School children as well as policemen carried placards seeking an end to the drug menace. The participants in the rally passed through roads, alleys and lanes to make people aware about the prevailing drug menace.

The police officers who participated in the rally included SHO Sopore Khalid Fayaz who emphasized on the fact that Drug abuse is prevalent in the society and need of the hour is to being awareness among the students so that this menace can be wiped once for all.

He said that this rally was organized to spread awareness among common people about the hazards of drug menace. They said with the active support of the general public, they can get over this nuisance and we are hopeful that in near future we will overcome it.
