JKNGEEA holds protest in support of Chandigarh power employees

Jammu: JKNGEEA on Tuesday held protest demonstrations across J&K UT at many electric complexes and outside Division/ sub division offices in solidarity with the Chandigarh power employees and engineers who are on strike against the Govt. Of India's recent decision to privatize the profit making power departments to the Kolkata based Private firm. JKGEEA demanded immediate revocation of this decision. Md Maqgool Gen Secretary and Gurmeet Singh State secretary , Gazi Ab Aziz , Surinder Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Mushtak Ahmad, Gh Mohd Bhat,and Satpal Singh and many other leaders addressed the protests at various places at Jammu and Kashmir including Panama Chowk , Miran Sahib, Parade, Anatnag, Bemina, Ganderbal and Kulgam etc today and highlighted the demands of power employees of UT and also extended support to Chandigarh counterparts.
