12 persons injured in Sopore road accident

Srinagar: At least twelve persons were injured after an oil-tanker collided with a mini-bus on Thursday in Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Reports reaching a local news agency, said that the incident occurred at bye-pass Sopore when an oil-tanker collided head-on with a mini-bus – on its way back from Dargah Hazratbal. In the incident, twelve people boarding the mini-bus were injured and immediately taken to SDH Sopore.

Confirming the incident, a police official concerned told that the injured were immediately removed to SDH Sopore.

Meanwhile, BMO Sopore told that twelve persons have received injuries in the incident and three with relatively serious injuries have been referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment.
