Lady killed, five others injured in tanker-car collision in Udhampur

Jammu: A woman was killed and five others suffered injuries when a car they were travelling in collided with a tanker on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur district.

Police said that a car coming from Srinagar side, late evening at around 2035 hours, collided with a tanker near Khairi.

Six persons suffered injuries and out of them, one lady identified as Neha, daughter of Madan Lal, Udeywala, Jammu, passed away.

The injured persons have been rushed to the district hospital.
