149 dead after heavy rainfall triggers floods, landslides in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Incessant rainfall in parts of Maharashtra rippled normal life and left a trail of destruction, media reports said.
The heavy rainfall over the past few days led to massive flooding, especially in the Konkan areas.
The death toll in flood-ravaged Maharashtra shot up from 112 to 149 on Sunday.
The State Disaster Management Authority said that another 64 people are still missing in the affected regions.
