63 new cases, 1 more death

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir recorded 63 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday, taking the total number of infected people to 3,20,403, while one new death took the toll to 4,374.
Out of the fresh cases, 33 were from the Jammu division and 30 from the Kashmir division of the union territory.
They said Pulwama and Reasi were the only two districts in the union territory to record double digit cases at 13 and 10.
The number of active cases dropped to 1,409 in the union territory, while 3,14,620 patients have recovered so far, the officials said.
The death toll in the union territory due to the pandemic rose to 4,374 as one fresh death was reported in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the officials said, there were 35 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in the union territory as no fresh case was reported since last evening.

Of the exact number of 320,403 cases, 198,998 are from Kashmir division and 121,450 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 63 new cases, 30 belong to Kashmir division while as 33 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 198,998 including 195,917 recoveries and 2,236 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 121,405 including 118,703 recoveries and 2,138 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,409 including 845 from Kashmir division and 564 from Jammu division.
With 166 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 314,620 which is 98.20 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 05 from Srinagar, 01 from Baramulla, 02 from Budgam, 13 from Pulwama, 01 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 00 from Bandipora, 03 from Ganderbal, 02 from Kulgam and 01 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 33 from Jammu division include 04 from Jammu, 02 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 08 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 01 from Samba, 04 from Kishtwar, 01 from Poonch, 02 from Ramban and 10 from Reasi," officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on fresh said that no fresh case of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 35.
One Covid death was been reported at SKIMS Soura. As per officials figures, 71,094 positive cases including 832 deaths and 69,919 recoveries are from Srinagar, 23,518 including 282 deaths and 23,150 recoveries are from Baramulla, 22,830 including 22,554 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Budgam, 15,133 including 14,863 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,028 including 165 deaths and 13,810 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,301 including 16,027 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,457 cases including 9,294 and 100 deaths are from Bandipora, 9,840 including 9,702 recoveries and 78 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,219 including 11,087 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,578 including 5,511 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 52,697 including 51,409 recoveries and 1,139 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,268 including 11,105 recoveries and 135 deaths are from Udhampur, 10,879 including 10,594 recoveries and 225 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,172 including 6,946 recoveries and 124 deaths are from Doda, 9,257 including 9,102 recoveries and 150 deaths are from Kathua, 7,120 including 6,963 recoveries and 119 deaths are from Samba, 4,613 including 4,522 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,242 including 6,092 recoveries and 94 deaths are from Poonch, 5,946 including 5,845 recoveries and 66 deaths are from Ramban and 6,211 including 6,125 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 2,731,727 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,281 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,409 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,362,755 persons have completed the surveillance period and 324,908 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 11,268,573 samples are available. Out of 11,268,573 the number of samples tested negative stands at 10,948,170 while as 320,403 have tested positive, among them 1,409 persons are active, 320,403 persons have recovered and 4,374 persons have died.
