COVID: OPD facility to remain suspended in Jammu hospitals from May 3

Jammu, May 1: The Out Patient Department (OPD) facility shall remain suspended in Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu and its associated hospitals in view of the surge in COVID cases.

As per the order issued by the Principal GMC and Dean, Dr Shashi Sudan, in view of the recent surge of COVID pandemic and increase in patient load, the routine OPDs in GMC and its Associated Hospitals shall remain suspended from May 3 till further order.

However, in order to avoid inconvenience to the general public, the emergency services shall continue to remain functional (24x7) as per routine, read an order.
