#Market_Review || Sensex down 178 points
Mumbai, Apr 15: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday slipped by 178 pts to 48,365.13 in the opening session on selling in Materials, Consumer Discretionary Goods and Services, FMCG and Finance stocks.
The Nifty too eased by 47.15 pts to 14,457.65.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 48,686.17 and 48,291.73 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,566.80 and 14,441.65 respectively.
The Mid Cap fell up by 0.55 pc and the Small Cap by 0.50 pc.
In 30 scrips 13 advanced while 27 declined.
The losers were Infosys by 3.85 pc to Rs 1344.60, M& M by 2.91 pc to Rs 788, IndusInd Bank by 2.87 pc to be 855.35 and Maruti Suzuki by 2.09 pc to Rs 6675.95.
The gainers by ONGC by 2.55 pc to Rs 104.65, Sun Pharma by 1.51 pc to Rs 636.90, Dr Reddy by 1.40 pc to Rs 4847.45 and TCS by 1.02 pc to Rs 3136.75.
