Jammu Police recovers missing girl in 12 hours

Jammu: Jammu Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered the teenage missing girl in 12 hours.

Police said that a 13-year-old girl went missing on April 13 from Ekta Vihar Kunjwani and on a complaint lodged FIR was registered at Police Station Gangyal.

The Police team recovered the girl within 12 hours of the complaint lodged by her mother, they said and added that it was stated in the complaint that the girl went missing from her home.

“Using intelligence, the girl was recovered from the possession of the accused namely Rajan Kumar of Sarsa Bihar, presently living in Ekta Vihar, Kunjwani, Jammu,”
Further investigations are in progress, police added.
