Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav:DC Kulgam kick Starts Plantation Drive at Kund

KULGAM, APRIL 06: The Soil conservation Department today organized Plantation Drive here at Kund valley in district Kulgam.
Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat kick started this drive by planting a sapling of conifer at Government Middle School Kund Kancloo.
This plantation drive was conducted under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav programme.
Present on the occasion were DFO soil conservation Anantnag / Kulgam, Dy CEO, Kund, and other officers.
Later the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the people of the area and took first hand appraisal of their issues.
Several delegations also met him and apprised him about their issues for redressal.
Earlier DC took stock of ongoing work projects in the area and impressed upon the concerned executing agencies to ensure timely completion of these work projects.
