BJP holds digital Shradhanjali Sabha, remembers Prof. Gupta

JAMMU: BJP Jammu & Kashmir held a Digital Shradhanjali Sabha remembering selfless life and invaluable contributions of former Union Minister Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta.

Senior BJP leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party expressed their heartfelt feelings from their respective places during the Shradhanjali Sabha held by Digital mode due to the ongoing Covid restrictions.

BJP National General Secretary & Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh, J& K BJP President Ravinder Raina, Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood, J&K BJP General Secretary(Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Presidents Ashok Khajuria, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Jugal Kishore Sharma (MP) & Sat Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, senior leader Chander Mohan Sharma, President Chamber of Commerce Jammu Arun Gupta and other senior leaders spoke on the occasion to pay tributes to the iconic leader.

Tarun Chugh termed heavenly departure of Prof. Gupta as irreparable loss for BJP and said that he acted as a strong pillar in every Nationalist struggle of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that under his mentorship many have mastered the politics and the public life dedicated to the welfare of society.

Ravinder Raina said that Prof. Gupta was a true Nationalist figure of J&K who earned respect all over India. He said that Prof. Gupta worked alongside all other great leaders in the struggle for "Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan, Ek Pradhan". He said that loss has created a big void in BJP. He will continue to inspire us all for decades to come, he added.

Ashish Sood said that Prof. Gupta still enjoyed a distinction of being unparalleled leader of people of J&K. He said that other senior politicians must also imbibe the traits of selfless service from his life.

Ashok Kaul said that Prof. Gupta was a beacon who has enlightened countless souls in his life. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family in this hour of grief.

All other prominent speakers termed Prof. Gupta as a humble politician and a widely respected public figure. They termed his demise as a great loss to the political sphere. They said that he will always be remembered for his immense contribution towards the welfare of the people. They prayed for the family members of the departed soul.
