Stress for strengthening ‘forest protection mechanism’

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 11: The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K Dr. Mohit Geera today chaired a meeting of concerned officers held through video conferencing to review the progress of various forest works.
The meeting discussed status of various forest protection works and supply of firewood to mosques in Kashmir region.
The meeting was attended through video conferencing by Chief Conservator of Forests Kashmir, Divisional Forest Conservators and Forest Officers of Kashmir Region.
The Principal Chief Conservator directed the concerned officers to complete all works under different schemes and sectors within set time frame.
He also directed the officers to make forest protection more efficient to protect the green gold in the region.
