DDC Kupwara reviews functioning of RDD

KUPWARA, DECEMBER 10: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg, today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of Rural Development Department and progress made under the flagship programmes including MGNREGA, 14th FC, SBM, B2V, Rurban Mission, Aadhaar linked Payment, BADP 2019-20 and BADP Tribal.
The meeting was attended by JD Planning, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Executive Engineer REW, District Panchayat Officer, Block Development Officers and other concerned.
The DDC reviewed Block and Panchayat-wise performance made under various schemes and set the timelines for completion of all pending works, while directions were passed to expedite the pace of developmental works.
The DDC also took stock of physical and financial achievements made under SBM, MGNREGA and 14th FC. The DDC stressed on improving performance under the key schemes.
He directed BDOs to complete all pending estimation of works in phase 3rd under 14th FC, so that the administrative approval of these works is granted and payment released under SBM.
The DDC further directed the BDOs and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas by adopting innovative methods for effective implementation of schemes and involve people in the developmental process.
