DDC Pulwama dedicated Sanitary napkin machine to girl students

ULWAMA, DECEMBER 10: District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today dedicated a sanitary napkin machine to girl students here at Government Girls Higher Secondary Naira Pulwama.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that aim of installation of this machine is to remove the obstacles for girl students in attending schools. He said that the availability of Sanitary Pads at schools would improve hygiene besides attendance in schools.
He said that the utilization of this machine by girl students would be a major contribution of SBM towards girl students.
On the occasion, the DDC also advised students to say no to use of polythene and plastic which are hazardous for ecology.
Among others Assistant commissioner development, Chief Education Officer, students and other concerned were present on the occasion.
