DDC Rajouri convenes introductory meet

RAJOURI, DECEMBER 10: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today convened an introductory meeting with the district and sectoral officers.
Chief Planning Officer, Shama-Un Ahmed, ADC Rajouri,Sher Singh, ADC Sunderbani Vinod Kumar Behnal,ADC Nowshera Sukhdev Singh Samyal,ADC Kotranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma,, District Treasury officer, Imran Mehmood ,SE PWD,SE PHE,SE PDD, CMO, Deputy Director planning Bilal Mir, District Panchayat Officer Dr Abdul Khabir, DIST Forest officers, Xens, and district heads of different departments attended the meeting.
DDC directed the officers to ensure prompt public delivery system to provide services to the people at their doorsteps and ensure they avail benefits of different welfare schemes optimally. He further directed the officers to ensure punctuality and attendance of staff in their offices which he said are the basic parameters to deliver public services efficiently. The officers were directed to visit frequently in the field as well as on working sites to ensure quality of work and timely completion of the projects.
He exhorted upon the officers to maintain the duty roster strictly. He made it clear that no carelessness related to duty shall be tolerated in any manner and strict action as per rules shall be taken against the non-serious and non performing employees.
He also stressed upon the officers for generating awareness among the general public about the individual oriented beneficiary schemes of different departments and directed them to ensure maximum coverage of public under these schemes.He also asked the officers to extend full cooperation to the PRI as they are also part of the Administration.
He also directed the ADCs, ACR and SDM to ensure proper and effective implementation of all the centrally and state sponsored schemes in their respective jurisdiction.
DDC asked the officer to work with added zeal, dedication and coordination so that professional integrity in the public services is maintained and better results could be achieved.
