Chairman KVIC meets Lt. Governor

Jammu, December 10: Sh. Vinai Kumar Saxena, Chairman, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The Lt. Governor and Sh. Saxena discussed various important issues pertaining to the promotion, organization and implementation of programs for the development of Khadi and other village industries in the rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
They also discussed the steps initiated by the KVIC for the capacity building of artisans engaged in these industries and providing financial assistance to institutions and individuals for development and operation of Khadi and Village Industries towards the establishment of a strong rural community.
