MD CVPPL calls on Lt. Governor

Jammu, December 10: Sh. M S Babu, Managing Director, Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPL), called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The MD briefed the Lt. Governor about the status of implementation of various hydro-electric power projects being undertaken by the Corporation to harness the vast hydro potential of river Chenab.
The Lt. Governor emphasized on the completion of these hydro-electric power projects within the stipulated time frame and asked the MD to ensure the generation of employment opportunities to locals especially those living in their catchment areas.
