DC B’la discusses measures for online registration for Scholarships, Arrangements for Winter Tutorials

BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 09: Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla Dr G N Itoo, today chaired a meeting with concerned authorities of education department to discuss measures for hassle free registration of students under various scholarship programmes.
The meeting also reviewed the heating and other necessary arrangements in the schools for the winter tutorials.
Appraising the DC about the functioning of the department, the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Baramulla, informed that due to lack of mobile connectivity, students weren’t not able to submit online scholarship forms smoothly which creates inconvenience.
Speaking on the occasion, DC directed the concerned heads of educational institutions to facilitate appropriate platforms so that students can submit their scholarship forms within the given timeframe.
It was informed that 18 zone wise teams have been constituted with concerned Principals as their heads, who would facilitate the online submission forms.
The DC also directed the concerned to put in place a viable mechanism for heating and other requisite arrangements for winter tutorials. He stressed the officers to work in coordination and cooperation for providing basic necessities to the students.
