DDC Kishtwar reviews winter stocking of food grains

KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 14: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, today reviewed stocking of food grains for winters in far-flung areas of Marwah, Warwan, Dachhan and Paddar.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Food Civil Supplies &Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Jammu Vishavjeet Singh, AD FCS&CA Kishtwar, Ghulam Rasool Lone, TSOs of Dachhan and Paddar and others.
It was informed that 97% winter stocking of food-grains under NFSA/MMSFES has been done in Marwah, Warwan area, 75% in Padder area and 32% of NFSA ration has been stocked in Dachhan area.
The AD informed that dumping of ration shall be completed within next 10 days in Padder area while 60% dumping of ration shall be completed by the end of this month and 100% completion by ending December 2019 in far flung areas.
The DDC directed the officers to ensure that adequate stock of food grains is dumped at FCS&CA stores of bad pocket areas by the end of December adding that any laxity on this part shall be viewed seriously.
