Shopkeeper shot dead in south Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A shopkeeper was shot dead by militants in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
“Mehraj-ud-din, a resident of Tral, was shot at by militants in his shop in Tral area of South Kahsmir, leaving him injured critically,” a police official said.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, however, he succumbed on the way.
Soon after the incident, security forces have launched a hunt to nab the assailants.
