DDC Kishtwar reviews achievements under CAPEX budget, CSSs

Stresses on accelerating pace of works to meet set deadlines

KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 11: District Developmental Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana today chaired a meeting to review progress made on various development works under CAPEX Budget (2019-20) and implementation of Centrally sponsored schemes in the district.
DDC reviewed physical and financial achievements in detail of the Education, PWD, PHE, PDD, RDD, Health, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Forest, Agriculture, Horticulture and other departments under district plan and CSSs.
The chair was informed that under district CAPEX budget 2019-20 an amount of Rs 112.50.02 Cr have been made available out of which Rs 107.64 Cr have been utilised till ending Oct 2019 under various schemes/ developmental projects underway through different executing agencies.
On the occasion, DDC directed the officers and executing agencies to ensure completion of all works including languishing projects within stipulated time frame and stressed for regular field visits to ensure works are executed on time and under set quality parameters with judicious utilization of funds.
He further directed the concerned district officers to ensure implementation of decisions taken during various public outreach programmes in the district.
Regarding implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes, DDC directed the officers to aware common masses by conducting awareness programmes at grass root level.
Meanwhile, various important issues were also discussed like 132 KV transmission line, status of tendered works under RAPDRP-B, creation of posts in health department, construction of foot suspension bridges etc.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, SE PDD, XEN PMGSY, PWD, CEO Kishtwar, CMO Kishtwar, Distirict Sheep Husbandry Officer, Kishtwar, representatives from RDD, Mechanical Division Kishtwar and other district officers.
