World Diabetes Day: SSH Jammu to host series of academic, patient care activities

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 11: The Department of Endocrinology, Super Speciality Hospital Jammu in collaboration with Department of Medicine, Government Medical College is going to organise a series of events to mark World Diabetes Day celebration on November 14, 2019 from 09:30 am onwards at the hospital. The theme of the event would be "Family and Diabetes".
The event will witness various academic and patient care activities which inter alia included Free Diabetes Screening and Awareness Camp for the poor and needy patients, Diabetes Awareness Poster competition by Pre-Final students and prize distribution ceremony.
The prize distribution committee which be evaluating the posters for prize distribution shall be headed by Principal and Dean, Dr Sunanda Raina, with Dr. Anil Sharma, HOD Medicine, Dr. Vishal Tandon, Association Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Dr. Suman Kotwal, Lecturer, Department of Endocrinology and Medical Superintendent, SSH Jammu as members.
All the Heads of the Department along with the faculty members, Residents and Students (except those who are on emergency duties) of the Institution have been informed to attend the event, the registration for which shall start from 9:00 a.m. on the said date.
