DC Kupwara meets delegation in Handwara

Directs for assessment of crop damage

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 11: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg today visited various Tehsil headquarters of Handwara Sub Division and other adjacent areas and took stock of various essentials being provided to people.
During the visit, the DDC interacted with locals and enquired about damage caused due recent snowfall to crops and property. He directed the Chief Horticulture Officer and Revenue authorities to assess the damage caused to orchards.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Nazir Ahmed Mir, Executive Engineers of PDD, PHE, R&B, besides other concerned officers were accompanying the DC.
