DC Anantnag tours Kokernag, takes stock of snow clearance & availability of essentials

ANANTNAG, NOVEMBER 10: The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today visited Kokernag Sub Division to take stock of the snow clearance and availability of essentials.
Among other officers, SDM Kokernag, SE PDD, CMO Anantnag, Executive Engineers of PMGSY & Mechanical Engineering Division Anantnag, Tehsildar Kokernag, BMO Kokernag, AEEs of R&B Sub Divisions Achabal and Kokernag and SDPO Kokernag accompanied the DDC.
The DDC was informed that all the roads have been snow cleared and connectivity has been restored by the concerned department in the Kokernag Sub Division. SE PDD apprised the DDC that power supply has been restored to the entire Sub Division.
The DDC visited SDH Kokernag and PHCs of Wandewalgam and Larnoo and interacted with the patients and attendants.
The DDC directed the concerned BMO to ensure the availability of doctors & paramedical staff round the clock, maintaining of duty roster, attendance, cleanliness, proper heating arrangements, displaying of the information regarding various centrally sponsored schemes. The DDC further directed for maintaining of records for various kinds of tests, institutional deliveries, referrals and conduct of VHNDs regularly.
The DDC directed CMO Anantnag to provide the list of vacancies in SDH Kokernag to the Director NHM so that the vacancies are filled at an earliest. He directed R&B Division Vailo to start fencing of the SDH Kokernag immediately. The DDC sanctioned generator set and a washing machine for PHC Wandewalgam, besides directed for completion of its renovation within two months.
At Larnoo, the DDC visited Higher Secondary School and directed for renovation of its roof.
The DDC also met general public at various places of the Kokernag Sub Division. The public put their demands in front of the DDC, who assured quick redressal of their genuine demands.
The DDC also ordered for replacement of existing 100 KV power transformer with a new transformer of same capacity for Wagaypora Larnoo.
