DC reviews Milad, Guru Purab Arrangements

Visits Dargah e Aalia B'la, Gurduwara Chatti Padshahi

BARAMULLA , NOVEMBER 09: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today visited the Dargah e Aalia and Gurduwara Chatti Padshahi in old town Baramulla to take stock of arrangements put in place for Eid e Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and Guru Purab celebrations.
DC was accompanied by ACR, President Municipal Council Baramulla Umar Kakroo, Chief Executive Officer MC Baramulla, EXNs of PDD, R&B and PHE, Revenue authorities and other concerned.
On the occasion, the Auqaf Committee members of Dargah-e-Aalia demanded that the basic facilities may be provided for the convenience of the devotees. He assured them all necessary arrangements are being put in place for the Milad.
Earlier, DC visited Gurduwara Chatti Padshahi and interacted with the president and members of Guruduwara Prabandhak committee there. He assured them that the district administration will provide all the facilities for the devotees who are expected to visit the Gurudwara Chatti Padshshi on the occasion of Gurupurb.
The DC directed concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply besides proper sanitation in and around the shrines and Gurudwaras in the district.
